Vampire Boy?
Vampire Boy ? is a collaboration between friends Davey Jones and Jeremy Aquilino. This project also features a group of friends from the Shea Stadium Brooklyn DIY community.
It started as a song writing game by j-rome. Jones and Rome wrote and recorded this album in about 4 days. The rules of the game were to write a song with only an A and B section. Tags and solos were totally cool, but no bridges. Each song had to be no longer than 2:30 (with a few exceptions due to rock). Only 3 - 4 takes allowed.

Everyone is talking about — The rapid gentrification of Brooklyn. Rents are going up, people are being displaced and small long-time mom and pop businesses are closing. Racial profiling and ticketing harassment due to Broken Windows policing grows worse every day.
Tenants, especially those who live in non-rent stabilized housing, homeowners and small business owners are at an unfair disadvantage because they do not have access to the same legal representation that landlords and developers do. And seems like the NYPD is above the law and can do whatever they want in our neighborhoods without impunity.

Dust - Dan Francia
Dust was created with a vision of complete improvisation. The only preconceived components were that The House of Oranges would play solely percussion instruments for the first track, exclusively instruments in the key of C on the second track, and use only their mouths on the third track. Dust is the live sequential outcome of October 19, 2019, with sections edited out.
All proceeds from this recording will be donated to Black Lives Matter Foundation indefinitely.

Baked - Live @ Shea Stadium
Select Baked shows, live @ Shea Stadium 2013 - 2015
Exploding In Sound Records: Live @ Shea Stadium
We're excited to announce today that we'll be collaborating with Shea Stadium on a combo LP & cassette release of performances by EIS bands at Shea!
The LP + cassette combined will feature tracks from 25 (!) different bands, all who have both played here at Shea and released music on the label. The compilation includes EIS bands both past (Porches, LVL UP, Palehound, Krill) and present (Pile, Ovlov, Baked, Big Ups) with tracks hand-picked from shows dating as far back as 2012.
All proceeds will go to Shea Stadium to help the venue toward re-opening.
This is a super limited edition and special release. The vinyl and tape will include different music (with the tape at almost double the length) so consider getting both. It's a bit pricier than usual, but that's because we're raising money for Shea Stadium!

Baked - Farnham
Brooklyn’s Baked return two and a half years after their full length debut with a new line-up and a new record, Farnham, that is more than worth the wait. The indie rock collective of DIY mainstays is led by RJ Gordon (also of Titus Andronicus), joined by Isabella Mingione, Jeremy Aquilino, and newcomers Steve Hartlett (also of Ovlov and Stove), and AJ Pantaleo (also of Bueno). It’s a band ready for the haziest of moments, veterans of fried rock bliss and blustery gloom. Farnham takes the shoegaze charged rock and roll of Debt (the band’s debut album) and ups the ante in just about every way. Heavier, more dynamic, sultrier, and riskier, Baked are leaving no stone unturned as they roar through dusty outlaw country, crushing stoner pop, smooth R&B influenced ballads, and a lethal dose of shredding splattered throughout.
Personnel:
Jeremy Aquilino - bass, vocals
R.J. Gordon - vocals, Jazzmaster
Steve Hartlett - Jazzmaster
Isabella Mingione - vocals, Casio, Hammond
A.J. Pantaleo - drums

"When you allow yourself to never underestimate the power of garage-pop, it can do wonders for your emotional spirit and at times it will really surprise you. In the case of Brooklyn's Baked...there are heavy elements of rejuvenating, direct indiepop that lie beneath the uncrunched guitars." - IMPOSE, Dayna Evans
"They give off a very comforting laid back vibe, giving the impression to understand themselves more than they know. Their music is an effortless experience, like that scent coming from your neighbors apartment late at night that you really don’t mind." - The Deli
"“Wolf” is another bit of totally solid stoner rock and a quality addition to the already rad tape." - Portals
